Late last year, I had the chance to photograph Tarangi and Ankur's engagement shoot in DC. Tarangi and Ankur are one of the sweetest couples I've had the chance to work with, and I had such a blast shooting with them! They are fun, down to earth, and absolutely hilarious - and it's plain to see just how much in love they are with each other.

Having grown up and lived in the DC area, Tarangi and Ankur wanted a quintessential DC photoshoot, but with a flair of their own. They picked the Library of Congress for its classy and elegant look, and the National Arboretum for a more laid back, natural vibe. The day of the shoot dawned bright and sunny, but the temperatures were deceivingly crisp and cold, and we bundled up and started shooting at the Library early in the morning. By the time we wrapped up and headed to the arboretum, the weather had turned pleasantly warm, and we had a lovely time shooting (and exploring) the gorgeous grounds around the arboretum.

After wrapping up for the day, Tarangi and Ankur very graciously treated me to some absolutely yummy pizza at a cozy eatery in Cleveland Park - talk about the perfect couple!! I absolutely cannot wait to shoot their wedding this coming May - if the engagement session was any indication, it's going to be a total blast!
