We spent three weeks in India in the winter of 2016-2017. Winter in India is magical - with plenty of greenery, balmy days, and chilly evenings that are perfect for fried snacks and a strong cup of chai. We divided our time across Kolkata (West Bengal), Raipur (Chattisgarh), and Pune (Maharashtra), and got to do plenty of sightseeing. Some of favorites were the Rabindra Sarobar in Kolkata, Karla Caves near Pune, Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum (Pune), and seeing the stunning views in Lonavla, Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar.
